A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible bidders on submission of a written application to the above Office and upon payment of nonrefundable fee as indicated above in each item in the form of Demand Draft / Cashier’s Cheque/ Certified Cheque in favour of Project Director, TamilNadu Health Systems Project payable at Chennai. Bidding documents requested by mail will be despatched by courier on additional payment of the postal charges of Rs 200/- for inland and Rs 2000/- for overseas. TNHSP will not be responsible for the postal delay, if any, in the delivery of the document or non-receipt of the same. Alternatively the bid documents can be downloaded at free of cost from www.tnhsp.org & www .tenders.tn.gov.in “The bidders, who have downloaded the bid documents, shall be solely responsible for checking these websites for any addendum/amendment issued subsequently to the bid document and take into consideration the same while preparing and submitting the bids”.
The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are based on the provisions of the World Bank Standard Bidding document - Procurement of Goods, Works & Non-Consultancy Services.
The bidding document may be obtained from the office of the Project Director, TamilNadu Health Systems Project, DMS Annex Buildings, DMS Campus, No.359, Anna Salai, Teynampet, Chennai - 06 during office hours namely from 10.00 hours to 17.00 hours on all working days either in person or by post.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in Indian rupees as specified in “section V - Schedule of requirements” and must be delivered to the above Office at the date and time indicated above.
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidder’s representatives who choose to attend on the specified date and time indicated in the above table.
In the event of the date specified for bid receipt and opening being declared as a closed holiday for purchaser's office, the due date for submission of bids and opening of bids will be the following working day at the appointed times.
